Nov, 2012, I fulfilled a lifelong dream by getting my first arcade game — (I always thought it would be Asteroids or Defender), and it ended up being a pinball machine — “Diner.” As of 2023, I have ~18 playable machines in the arcade.
My collection primarily comes from the top three designers of the 1980’s: Barry Orsler, Steve Ritchie, and Mark Ritchie (designers). They are absolute geniuses. I hold them in the same light as other famous geniuses — (Michelangelo, DeVinci, Mozart, Beethoven, Einstein, etc.)
I am honored to be able to collect, admire, and play their works of art, and restore them as needed to their original playing condition to the best of my ability (and budget!).
It’s fun to host parties and stand back and watch parents and kids play together and have fun… It’s really a joy to watch.
