Restoration work is REALLY fun. Sometimes I question whether I enjoy it more than playing pinball. I like the idea that I am rescuing a piece of American culture, and getting it back to the best condition I can with the budget I have.
I divide my work into a few areas:
Fixes: Count on repairs to be required, and often !
Restoration: This likely involves improving the cosmetic quality of a part.
Upgrades: things I do to improve playability, which can be a tweak to a setting or part, or it can be a purchase to acquire a better part.
